BIGTOOTH GOES TO MALTA, WARNER MEDIA ROUNTABLE AND A NEW HQ.
MALTA TRADE MISSION
Bigtooth Studios was invited to attend the 2021 Malta Trade Mission. The mission organised by WM Creative Scale-Up Programme was set up to establish relationships between UK and Maltese Film, Game and TV industries.
Adame Boutrif; Bigtooth Studios TD spent 4 days in Malta, working through a very exciting itinerary, where he visited Malta Enterprise, Malta Film Commission and Gaming Malta. A highlight of the trip was exploring some of their top film locations, including the infamous Gladiator staircase shot, and of course the breath-taking Game of Thrones locations.

BIGTOOTH STUDIOS Founder; Jamie was invited to join Create Central and fellow board members to sit in on the roundtable discussion with Vanessa Brookman and Sarah Fell, Head of Kids original series at WarnerMedia.
WarnerMedia is home to brands such as Warner Brothers, HBO, Cartoon Network and Adult Swim to name just a few.
PRODUCING CONTENT VIRTUALLY - MISSION ACOMPLISHED
Jamie joined the Virtual Production Masterclass panel, alongside Chris Cox (Head of virtual Production - MBSE UK) and Jim Solan (VFX Supervisor - Dock10). “PRODUCING CONTENT VIRTUALLY” hosted by West Midlands Creative Business Response and Resilience Programme (CBRRP) was a discussion around the uses of virtual production for content creation and production methodology.
“Speakers at the forefront of producing content virtually. Whether it is high-end scripted drama or unscripted studio content, virtual production is on the rise and it has its own unique methodology for production. Joining the panel will be Create Central Members: Chris Cox and Jamie Bakewell“
ANOTHER NEW HQ
Bigtooth Studios has moved...again! We are now in office number 4. After being based in Wolverhampton Science Park for just over 3 years, we have now moved into a more rural, creative space in Staffordshire. We also welcomed 2 new 3D artists to the Bigtooth Team! Welcome aboard Dan G and Katy!
