WHAT WE ARE WORKING ON
It’s been an exciting month at BIGTOOTH STUDIOS! This June we have been busy creating previs + postvis for a Netflix feature film, producing storyboards and animatics for a AAA game cinematic and designing concept art for a popular children's game.
NISHAAN JOINS BIGTOOTH STUDIOS
We have a new team member!! Nishaan Bahra, who is only 16 years old and a super-talented, self-taught Blender artist. He will be joining us over the summer to gain some all-important industry experience, and we are delighted to have him on board! It is always exciting to see young people with such passion, a quality often more important than skill, however Nishaan does not fall short of either. Nishaan is sure to make a name for himself in the industry...watch this space!

ANIMEX FESTIVAL
BIGTOOTH STUDIOS attended this year's (Virtual) ANIMEX festival of Animation, Visual Effects & Games. Hosted by Teesside University. The 2021 festival featured student film screenings, workshops and guest speakers from some of the leading studios including, Aardman Animations, DNEG, Framestore, MPC Film & The Mill.

ROKOKO - THE POWER OF BLENDER WITH IAN HUBERT
Rokoko hosted a webinar with Blender legend Ian Hubert, famous for the stunning visual effects and impressive 3D universes he creates on an indie budget. Hubert shared his expertise on technical workflows, character animation, motion capture practices, dynamo dream, world building, photogrammetry, jerryrigging and his upcoming projects. We have some MAJOR Ian Hubert fans in the BTS office, so the event was a must for the team. Brilliant, as expected! If you love 3D, VFX and Blender and don’t yet know Ian Hubert...check him out!
